For this project, we were asked to touch up a photo taken of a red sports car (specifically, an Audi R8) at an auto show. The photo was taken by a previous student, and with a little retouching, it looked a ton better and really made a difference in terms of marketing. We were asked to clone some of the glares of the lights out, get rid of the noisy distractions in the background and darken the windshield a little in the photo. This is the original photo:

While doing this project, I learned a lot about Photoshop and how much you can actually transform an image. In this photo, by just removing some of the glares, darkening the windshield and removing the background, this photo has gone from loud and full to a photo that does a great job of marketing the car. This was a fun project to play around with, and I definitely think I'll be taking the skills I learned and putting them towards my other shooting and Photoshop assignments.
