For my third photo assignment, I decided to shoot 'Portrait', so, I took pictures of my siblings. I gave my sister some flowers to hold and pose with. It was rather fun to do, and a lot easier because kids are a lot better at listening to directions than animals are. My sister is really cute, so the photos came out really quite nice. I think that if the lighting outside had been a little better then the photos would have been even more excellent, but it was quite a cloudy day so the overcast was making it hard to bring out her features.

In this assignment, I learned that if you have the right lighting and retouching skills, it can be rather easy to create compelling, beautiful photos. I will definitely remember the tips I thought about while taking these photos, like lighting with shadows and highlights, and also position and subject focus, and put them towards any other photos I take of people in the future.
