Before we had the demo showing us how to paint with light in photos, I had no idea how someone made those awesome photos with the streaks of light across of it. When we had the demo, however, it instantly became easy. All we had to do was use a pitch black area, a long exposure, and a source of light! Although time consuming, this was a very fun project and I'd definitely do it again. I asked my siblings - first my sister and then my brother, to help me out with clicking the camera shutter button and moving the sources of light around. I used several flashlights, a color screen app on my phone for the wider drawings, some sound-activated light up glasses, and a flashing light on a string.

Exposure Triangle:
ISO: 160
Aperture: f/9.0
Shutter Speed: 15" (seconds)
I cloned out a light streak that had traveled in front of her face, but other than that, I did no editing to this image.
