For Photo Assignment #2, I decided to shoot pictures of nature. This seemed like a great idea because the leaves outside right now are beautiful and since it's autumn, the colors really pop. Dad and I drove to the park to take some pictures of the trees and flowers sitting around. The red, orange, yellow and green colors really displayed the colors of the season well. I took a lot of pictures of the trees and leaves, and even got out my zoom lens so I could take a photo of a hawk flying up above. While shooting this assignment, I learned that finding the right focus is essential. Another essential aspect is making sure that there are no tiny distractions in front of your subject (for example, I took a photo of a flower in a bush, but a blurry twig was covering it, so I couldn't use it). I really enjoyed taking these photos.

Exposure Triangle Information:
ISO: 160
Shutter Speed: 1/400
Aperture: f/5.6
For this photo, I used a zoom lens (45-200mm) to really get in close to the texture and detail of the leaves. The sky was beautiful and nice and clear. I think that this photo represents color as well as the rule of thirds. In photoshop, I used the camera raw filter to adjust the vibrance of the leaves. I played around with some other editing but decided that this looked the best.
